The service

ShareMyPin lets an account holder create a location-request link, send it by SMS, WhatsApp, or another channel, and receive one consented pin from the person who opens it. The stranded driver does not need an account.

By creating an account or using a public link, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy policy.

Accounts

Signup offers Individual and Company accounts. You are responsible for the people who use your seats, for keeping login details safe, and for how a received pin is used after it lands.

Paid plans, usage limits, retention windows, and messaging channels are described on the pricing section and in the product. We may change plan details with notice in the app.

Location requests

Do not send a link unless you intend to receive a single location point from that person. The person who opens the link chooses whether to share. Public links can be disabled or regenerated at any time. The previous URL and QR then stop working.

Pins are not live tracking. They auto-delete after the retention window on your plan.

Not emergency services

ShareMyPin is not a substitute for 911 or other emergency services. Do not rely on it for medical, fire, or police response. If someone is in immediate danger, call emergency services first.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to stalk, threaten, or harass anyone.
• Do not collect a pin from someone who cannot consent.
• Do not probe, scrape, or try to guess public tokens.
• Do not send spam with location links. Messaging still has to follow the law and the rules of SMS or WhatsApp providers.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the product running, but GPS, phones, carriers, and maps can fail. Pins are provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, ShareMyPin is not liable for missed pickups, delayed help, or decisions made from a pin.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the latest version. If you do not agree, stop using the service and close your account.
